Terms of Service (Kit Street)

Overview

Welcome to Kit Street. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply when you browse our website, place an order, or use any of our services.

In these Terms, “we”, “us”, and “our” refers to Kit Street. Our store is hosted on Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that lets us sell our products to you. Shopify Help Center

By using our site or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms and our other policies, including:

  • Subscription Policy (if you purchase a subscription)

If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

Eligibility and your details

By placing an order, you confirm you’re at least 18 years old (or have permission of a parent/guardian) and that the information you provide (including delivery address and payment details) is accurate.

You’re responsible for ensuring your delivery address is correct. If a parcel is returned due to an incorrect/incomplete address, you may need to cover re-shipping costs.

Our products (vintage + mystery)

Kit Street sells authentic vintage and retro football shirts.

Because these shirts are vintage, they may show minor signs of age or wear (e.g., light fading, small pulls, or minor imperfections). This is part of what makes them authentic and unique.

Our “mystery” product means:

  • You will not know the exact shirt you’ll receive before purchase.

  • We’ll use the details you provide (size + “no-go list”) to guide our selection, but we can’t guarantee a specific club, league, season, brand, sponsor, or country.

  • Product photos on site are illustrative and may not represent the exact shirt you receive.

Orders and payment

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. We may accept or decline an order (for example, due to stock, suspected fraud, or incorrect pricing).

Your order is confirmed once payment is processed and you receive an order confirmation.

Please review your order before submitting — we may not be able to make changes after an order is placed (especially for fulfilment speed).

Prices

All prices are shown in AUD unless stated otherwise. We may update prices at any time.

Subscriptions

If you purchase a subscription, you authorise us to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis according to the subscription terms shown at checkout.

Shipping

Shipping is covered in our Shipping Policy. Delivery timeframes are estimates and may be impacted by carrier delays or events outside our control.

Risk of loss passes to you once the order is handed to the carrier.

Returns, exchanges and refunds

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Intellectual property

All content on this website (branding, logos, copy, images, product descriptions) is owned by Kit Street or used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, or use it for commercial purposes without written consent.

Reviews and user content

If you submit a review, photo, video, or other content to us (including via email or social media), you give us permission to share it for marketing purposes (e.g., on our website, emails, or social channels). If you want something removed, contact us and we’ll sort it.

Prohibited use

You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to interfere with its operation, or use it for unlawful purposes.

Third-party services

Our site may include third-party tools or links (e.g., payment providers, apps, social platforms). We’re not responsible for third-party sites or services.

Shopify platform

Our store is hosted by Shopify. Any purchase you make is between you and Kit Street (not Shopify). Shopify is not responsible for sales, purchases, or disputes relating to your order. Shopify Help Center

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Kit Street is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site or products. Where consumer guarantees apply, our liability is limited to the remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.
